Your Face

Your Face
Chapter nine
By Crystal

Your face
I'm still not over
Your Face
Headlights break through the rain
Over London's winter light
I came all the way here tonight
To look in your eyes
I came all the way here tonight
Just to see you

It had been pouring all week and the only indication of it's yield was an hour of sun mother nature produced yesterday morning. Then it was gone, just as quickly, and surprisingly, as it came.

Georgia Reynolds walked into her cozy home, soaking wet to the bone, but elated nonetheless. Having been witness to possibly the most boring day of her life she decided to take a walk out in the rain. She loved every drop that splashed on her skin.

As she sat by the front window, staring at the green trees outside, she spotted a car pulling up to the curb in front of her driveway. A tall person got out of the car and began to sprint towards her front door.

Curious as to what this person may want, Georgia went to the door, extended it out and watched as the stranger, who she now saw as being very good looking, briskly walked up to her, embraced her in his wet arms and kissed her passionately. Her lips burned like hot ambers from his passion, igniting her heart, setting it aglow. The burning increased as she wrapped her own arms around this rugged stranger and gave back the passion he put in her. Then, softly, gently, tenderly, he kissed her one last time and slowly pulled away. Georgia stared into his ocean blue eyes and searched for an explanation.

"I… I just had to see you…" he spoke, his voice trembling with emotion.

Doctor Lynn and two other nurses assisted in moving Georgia's bed into a large guest room. The placed her next to Nick, adjusted the IV bag and left. Doctor Green came in to observe the two patients. They looked odd to him, lying side by side, both in their coma slumber. He half expected their souls to rise out and greet each other, then float into the heavens above. But no such thing happened. Nick Carter and Georgia Reynolds lay there.
